The reason people live on from day to day to yet another day is because they have hope and faith that the following moments/days will bring success and pride to their lives. Is that correct? Isn't it human nature to anticipate what will happen next out of curiosity due to what pleasure will come from it? To smell the candle placed in front of you to see if you like it, which (even further) delves into the entire process of, simply, finding joy in your surroundings. Ri-ght? Or, put into different words, one cannot anticipate the future if they cannot find joy in their surroundings.
So, without the anticipation, what reason does one have to live? There would be no urge to follow-up the next day, no reason to wake the next morning, to live through the night. No desires would exist since nothing involved enjoyment. Happiness couldn't stem from anything tangible to the body. If so, dread would not exist either based upon the obvious (for those whom are on the slower side: Dread- fearful or distasteful ANTICIPATION). Let's replace dread with fear and joy with love. Now, fear and love are actually the only two emotions one can feel (and is a proven theory, by Zukav, I believe). Just think about it, if someone cannot feel these emotions from their world then they are non-existent. They'd live in a neutral state of mind towards everything around them.
No, no, this cannot possibly happen. People DO exist. So, the next feasible suggestion leads to a person's thoughts and emotions almost reaching the neutral state of being since everyone is existent. Yes? What must one do if they rarely ever experienced joyfulness? Or! If one always experienced their feelings but just barely felt them at all near feeling nothing. If nothing exciting or joyous happens to someone, why do they live? If scratching is as good as it gets, then why torture them to question their very existence?
Whew, it's a little too late and I'm tired of explaining what's going through my mind.... so, yeah. I'm leaving, of course
Excuse my typing errors and pronunciation glitches. Huh?
Later, 3:03!
